Civil Marriage in Historic Surroundings
Above the Rooftops of Miltenberg in the Knights’ Hall of Mildenburg Castle.
Are you looking for a very special location for your civil marriage? How about the knights’ hall of the Mildenburg Castle? The castle was built around the year 1200 as a show of force for the archbishops of Mainz. It was completely refurbished in 2011 and has since been made available to the public as the Museum.Burg.Miltenberg.
The weddings, carried out by the civil registry office of Miltenberg, take place in the time-honoured knights’ hall, in a setting of historic wallpapers, timber flooring in its original state, floral paintings on the ceiling and a gorgeous view over Miltenberg. And afterwards you may want to hold a champagne reception in the little yard with the ruins?
Weddings can be held Mondays to Fridays between 8 am and 6 pm as well as on Saturdays until 3 pm.
