Nr. on the small map: 23 (Miltenberg)

In 1411, the tavern Zum Riesen was first officially mentioned. The present building dates back to 1590. It named itself the oldest tavern of Germany and besides is proud to be the oldest royal inn of Germany. Since the innkeeper was not able to survive on noble guests only, the inscription on the house invites also citizens and farmers to step in.

The Faust Brewery brews one kind of beer to be served at the tavern only. The Riesen-Spezial can be tasted in-house.
